Total Toxic
Burden Over the past few decades our environment has become increasingly
more toxic. We are exposed to thousands of toxic chemicals in our homes, from the air, water, and food supplies.
In addition, we ingest an ever growing list of toxins everyday including artificial sweeteners, MSG, caffeine,over-the-counter
medications, alcohol, nicotine and oxidized fats from processed foods. The
accumulation of these toxins can create a total toxic burden! Our bodies are able to counteract and filter out a certain
amount of toxins; however, when we are constantly bombarded by pollutants in our environment, we can become overloaded.
When excess toxins accumulate in the body, excessive oxidative stress occurs and this can lead to disease. Excessive
toxins can actually damage our DNA leading to cancer, birth defects, and other chronic ailments. Common symptoms of
toxicity include headaches, weight gain, fatigue, joint pains, insomnia, mood swings, low immunity, and chronic digestive
issues such as bloating and constipation. The following diseases are associated
with toxic overload: cardiovascular disease, hypertension, cancer, obesity, chronic
fatigue, allergies, skin problems, asthma, mental illness, kidney disease, and gastritis.
